Consentire all'utente di condividere il sito web su cui si trova è un pattern comune delle app web che puoi trovare su molti siti di notizie, blog o siti di shopping. Non tutti i browser supportano ancora l'API Web Share. Un fallback consiste quindi nell'integrazione con i siti di social network più diffusi del tuo pubblico di destinazione. Un esempio diffuso è Twitter, il cui URL di intent web consente di condividere un testo e un URL. In genere, il metodo consiste nel creare un URL e aprirlo in un browser.
